After 24 years I was back in the same place with a much smaller van,

but bigger car and bike in 2003!

Honeybird comes to rest in

Menton in 2000 with

her insides completely ripped out,

tyres slashed, side windows

smashed and engine seized.

My first Motor Caravanner's Club Rally 1976

Bought in 1976 from friends in Finchley who named her Honeybird after her colour, and I kept the name in memory of my Mother.(Know as Honey)

Italy February 1978 (showing original safari rack, aluminium top-box, water-proofing and jerry-can holder on the back.)

After two winters in "Honeybird" on the Cote D'Azur in and around Menton, I decided to settle here after Christmas 1979. Unfortunately she was wrecked by vandals and "died" in 2000 in the south of France.
